1. Introduction

Shree Ananta LLP ("Shree Ananta LLP", "AstroMaestro", "we", "us", or "our"), a limited liability partnership based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, operates AstroMaestro, a web application that provides Vedic astrology based life-guidance reports ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not use the Service.

3.1 Account Information

3.2 Astrological Information (Sensitive)

To generate your Kundli, nakshatra placements, and layered AI analysis, we require highly specific personal information, including:

This information may relate to you, or to a family member (such as a spouse, parent, sibling, or child) whose chart you wish to generate. We treat this category of information as sensitive personal data and apply heightened safeguards to it, as described in Section 8.

3.3 Payment Information

Payments for subscriptions and pay-per-report purchases are processed by Razorpay, our third-party payment gateway. We do not store your full card, UPI, or net-banking credentials on our servers. Razorpay processes this information under its own privacy policy and applicable payment-industry security standards.

3.4 Technical and Usage Information

This information is collected automatically to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

4. Submitting Information About Family Members or Other Individuals

Where you submit birth details of a family member, including a child, spouse, sibling, or parent, for the purpose of generating a chart or report, you confirm that:

•You have the legal authority or parental/guardian responsibility to provide that individual's information, or their informed consent to do so;
•You will only use the resulting report for personal, non-commercial purposes relating to that individual.

We rely on you, the account holder, to obtain any necessary consent before submitting a third party's personal information, including that of a minor. We do not independently verify family relationships or consent chains.

Note for legal review: Consider adding an explicit in-app checkbox at the point of data entry ("I confirm I am authorised to submit this individual's birth details") to create a documented consent trail.

5. How We Use Your Information

•To calculate Kundli charts, planetary positions, and nakshatras
•To generate layered AI-based astrological analysis and a final synthesised report
•To create and manage your account and store your report history for future access
•To process payments, subscriptions, and pay-per-report purchases

6. AI Processing and Third-Party AI Providers

Generating your report involves multiple layers of automated analysis. Relevant portions of your astrological data (such as calculated planetary positions and derived chart data) are processed through third-party large language model providers, currently OpenAI and Google (Gemini), to produce layer-specific analyses, which are then synthesised into your final report.

•We do not permit these providers to use your data to train or improve their underlying models.
•Data shared with these providers is limited to what is required to generate your analysis and is transmitted through secure, encrypted channels.
•These providers process data under their own respective privacy and data-processing terms, in addition to any contractual safeguards we put in place with them.

Note for legal review: If you have (or plan to have) Data Processing Agreements with OpenAI and Google that restrict retention or training use, reference them here explicitly. This strengthens the clause considerably.

7. Other Third-Party Service Providers

8. Data Retention

8.1 Reports and Chart Data

Generated Kundli charts, nakshatra data, and AI analysis reports are retained on a long-term basis within your account, so that you can revisit them at any time without needing to resubmit information or repurchase a report.

8.2 Account Deletion

If you choose to delete your account, we will delete your personal information, including astrological data and generated reports, immediately upon your confirmed deletion request, except where retention of certain limited data (such as transaction records) is required by applicable tax, accounting, or legal obligations, or to resolve disputes, in which case that limited data will be retained only for as long as legally necessary and then deleted.

Note for legal review: Confirm the exact statutory retention period for financial and transaction records applicable in India so this section can state a precise duration rather than "as legally necessary."

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, which may include the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and the US California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), among others. 10. Children's Personal Information

The Service is not directed at, and accounts may not be created by, individuals under the age of 18. However, an adult account holder may submit the birth details of a minor (such as their child) for the purpose of generating that minor's chart, under the conditions described in Section 4. We do not knowingly collect account registration information directly from individuals under 18.

11. International Data Transfers

As we serve users globally and use service providers located in different countries, including the United States where our cloud and AI providers operate infrastructure, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we take steps intended to ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.

12. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure, to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our separate Cookie Policy, which forms part of this Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons.
